Cheez-It® Hidden Valley Ranch® Cracker Baked Pizza Dip
Cheez-It® Baked Hidden Valley Ranch® Pizza Dip is a delightful fusion of classic pizza flavors and the beloved crunchy snack. This appetizer layers rich marinara sauce and creamy burrata, all topped with crushed Cheez-It® crackers for an extra crispy bite. Baked until bubbly and golden, it's perfect for dipping with breadsticks, veggies, and more Cheez-It® crackers of course!
Ingredients
- 6 ounce package pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, plus more for garnish
- 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups jarred marinara sauce
- 8 ounce ball burrata
- 2 cups Hidden Valley Ranch Cheez-It® Crackers, plus more for serving
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof (preferably cast iron) skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add pepperoni and cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently so both sides of pepperonis cook. Once crispy, remove with a slotted spoon to a paper towel lined plate.
3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add the tomatoes and let them cook until they burst, 8-10 minutes, stirring often. Add marinara sauce into the tomato mixture. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is thickened, 12 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and top with the ball of burrata in the center.
4.Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is warmed through. Once baked, use a spoon to break apart burrata and swirl throughout tomato mixture.
5.Top with crispy pepperoni and crushed Hidden Valley Ranch Cheez-It® crackers. Garnish with fresh basil, chili flakes, and black pepper. Serve hot immediately with more Cheez-It® Crackers.
