Cheez-It® Hidden Valley Ranch® Chicken Salad Pizza
This Cheez-It® Hidden Valley Ranch Chicken Salad Pizza brings a delicious chicken crust to a fresh salad. Finished with a generous sprinkle of Cheez-It® Hidden Valley crackers, it has the perfect about of flavor and crunch. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- For the Chicken Pizza Crust:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup Hidden Valley Ranch® Cheez-It® Crackers, lightly crushed
- 1 large egg, whisked
- 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
- Nonstick cooking spray
- To assemble:
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup Hidden Valley Ranch Cheez-It® Crackers
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Kosher salt, to taste
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375F, place a rack in the center of the oven, and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. Make the chicken crust. In a large bowl, mix chicken, crushed Hidden Valley Ranch Cheez-It® crackers, egg, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
3. Once the mixture is combined, transfer it to the baking sheet. Using lightly-oiled hands, press the ingredients into a ¼-inch thick circle. Spray with nonstick spray. Transfer it to the oven and bake until golden brown and lightly crispy, 40 minutes. Let cool at least 10 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, mix the romaine, grated Parm, Hidden Valley Ranch Cheez-It® crackers and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. Toss until fully combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper
5. Transfer salad on top of crust and garnish with more black pepper. Serve immediately.
