Georgia Bark-B-Q Cheez-Burger

Ingredients
- 4 oz 80/20 Ground beef, rolled to a ball
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 oz BBQ sauce
- .5 oz Hot & Spicy Cheez-It® crackers, crushed
- .2 oz per BBQ sauce Hot & Spicy Cheez-It® seasoning
- 2 ea Pickle chips
- 3 per burger, 1 bamboo pick Extra Big Cheez-It® crackers
- 1 ea Bun
- 2 oz Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese Cheez-It® mix
- For Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese Cheez-It® mix:
- 1 lb. Dry elbow pasta
- 4 oz Unsalted butter
- 4 oz All-purpose flour
- 6 cups Whole milk
- 4 cups (measured after shredding) Freshly shredded pepper jack cheese
- 2 cups Pepper Jack Cheez-It® crackers, crushed
- 1/2 Tbsp Salt
Directions
1. Place beef on griddle, smash with spatula and weight.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Flip when ready.
4. Butter buns and griddle.
5. Place burger on bun.
6. Top burger with Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese Cheez-It® mix, pickle chips, drizzled BBQ sauce, and crushed Hot & Spicy Cheez-It® crackers.
7. Garnish with Extra Big Cheez-It® crackers using bamboo pick.
Prepping Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese Cheez-It® mix:
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF, grease 9x13” baking dish, set aside.
2. Boil pasta, drain, set aside.
3. While waiting for pasta, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
4. Whisk in flour and let cook for 3 mins, stirring occasionally (making a roux).
5. Whisk in milk to roux (for best results use room temperature milk).
6. Add salt and continue whisking milk and roux mixture until it begins to thicken (about 10 min).
7. Reduce heat to low, and whisk in grated cheese until completely smooth. Remove from heat.
8. In a large mixing bowl, combine cheese sauce, pasta, and 2 cups of crushed Pepper Jack Cheez-It® crackers.
9. Transfer mix to baking dish, and top with remaining crushed Pepper Jack Cheez-It® crackers.
10. Bake at 325ºF for 25-35 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly!
