Candied Cheez-It® Crackers
Cheez-It® Candied Crackers are the ultimate sweet-meets-savory snack you didn’t know you needed. Baked with a buttery brown sugar glaze, these crunchy candied crackers deliver a caramelized twist on the classic cheesy bite. Perfect for parties or late-night cravings, they’re dangerously addictive.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 box Cheez-It® crackers - I used the BIG variety
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Set aside.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Cook over medium-low heat until melted and smooth. Once smooth, turn off the heat and stir in the baking soda.
3. Pour the box of Cheez-It® crackers onto your prepared baking sheet, then drizzle the caramel mixture evenly over top. Bake the crackers for 1 hour, stirring and tossing them around every 15 minutes.
4. Let cool completely before enjoying!
